The Jordan Air Dream The Jordan Airdream is an eight foot long mini caravan which is a replica of the classic American Airstream silver coloured vans from the nineteen fifties. The Airdream was made in Derby by Barry Jordon (Google: Barry Jordan Model Engineer) who is an award winning model engineer. Built on an Erdle unbraked triple motorcycle trailer chassis, the marine ply body has been clad with 1.5 mm polished aluminium sheet. The finish is of aircraft quality with fourteen hundred meticulously positioned stainless steel screws. The four ‘armadillo’ corners were built up on a specially constructed jig; the aluminium sheets being hand cut to the required profile without the use of rollers or formers. Inside it opens up like the Tardis with a wonderfully imaginative us of space. The Air Dream sleeps two adults comfortably and is fitted with interior low voltage DC lighting with an exterior AC point for mains or a generator. Features include a fold away double bed, table, television and wash basin; outside is a gas double hob galley and a fold away awning. It is the only one in the World.
